Jeff Fisher recently appeared on NFL Network in an interview with Steve Mariucci, where Fisher claimed that “the locker room is much better because of [Young’s] actions after the game.”

Fisher went on to explain that “to a man” Young’s teammates disagreed with his actions. “He’s probably better off not being here,” Fisher said.

The media, of course, has been eating up everything Jeff Fisher says and simply taking it as fact. With the exception of a few uncorroborated reports, there was nothing to contradict his bold statements. (Of course, the Titans’ abysmal record without Vince Young gave us some clues.)

Then, last night during the first half between the Titans and Colts, Kenny Britt donned a towel bearing Vince Young’s initials and his number.

The towel disappeared after halftime, but the uniform violation clearly contradicts the propaganda Jeff Fisher has been spewing for weeks — and it’s becoming more and more evident that it will be Jeff Fisher, not Vince Young, who is unemployed after this season.
