Week 4 in the NFL brought a lot to think about for all you fantasy players out there. Now in week 5 and injuries to players Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy, & Clinton Portis, Bye weeks to Dolphins, Patriots, Steelers, & Seahawks. Week 4 showing you the old guys can still perform, Terrell Owens & Ladainian Tomlinson. The young guys are no fluke, Arian Foster, Peyton Hillis & Ahmad Bradshaw. Guys like Randy Moss, Hines Ward, Jay Cutler showing you that no one is a lock to start.

So Week 5 brings the question, Who do I start? Who do I bench? Well I’ve got your answers!

Start ‘Em

QB: Sam Bradford

Sam Bradford acting nothing like a rookie QB & playing a weak Lions Defense He is a must start this week.

250+ Yards, 2TDs, 0INT

QB: Joe Flacco

Don’t let his horrible week 2 game fool you. Flacco proved he can play well against the best of them(Pitt) and will light up a horrible Denver secondary.

300 Yards, 3TDS, 1INT

RB: Jamaal Charles

Chalres was able to 97 yards(8.1ypc) vs a 49ers defense that has not given up more than 50 all year. Playing the colts Defense that gave up 231 yards & 3 tds in week 1.

150 Yards, 2TDs

RB: Maurice Jones-Drew

MJD Finally broke 100 yards rushing and got his first TD on the year last week, I expect nothing to change vs. a Buffalo Bills team that is ranked Dead Last in the NFL in rushing yards.

125 Yards, 2TDs

WR: Hakeem Nicks

Nicks broke out for 24 fantasy points in week 1, but is a shaky start at times, mostly because of his shaky QB. This week he faces the league’s worst pass Defense and will be looking to repeat his week 1 performance.

125 Yards, 2TDs

WR: Mark Clayton

See Above for Sam Bradford.

150 Yards, 2TDs

TE: Tony Moeaki

Moeaki leads the team in every receiving category & playing the league’s 15th ranked pass defense nothing should change.

75Yards. 1TD

Sit ‘Em

QB: Kyle Orton

Kyle Orton is lighting the league up this year as the Broncos have the #1 Passing Offense in the NFL. Week 5 he faces the #1 Passing Defense in the NFL. The Ravens, only giving up 119 passing yards a game. Orton is a must bench this week.

QB: Kevin Kolb

Kevin Kolb is the future of the Eagles, & the 49ers do not have a good Passing defense. But Kolb’s confidence is hurt & has had no time to develop a relationship with his WRs. Bench him as he is no Michael Vick.

RB: Jonathan Stewart

What Happened to this amazing 1-2 punch? DeAngelo Williams has taken over this rushing team with Stewart only getting 28 Carries all year and hasn’t even broke 100 yards on the season yet. Do not start him until this trend changes.

RB: Jahvid Best

Best was showing everyone why the Lions wanted him so bad. Now bothered by Turf Toe and Stafford still out at QB he needs to remain on the bench.

WR: Terrell Owens

Before last week Owens is averaging 50 yards receiving and 0 TDs a game. Do not expect another amazing performance from him this week.

WR: Louis Murphy

His Shoulder Still Bothering Him and may not even play. This Oakland team that everyone thought this would be the year is turning back into the Oakland team that everyone knows.

TE: Owen Daniels

I love Daniels, #1 TE in the NFL last year before injury. This year he can’t do anything and could lose job to Joel Dreessen.
